Proprietary technology and integration deliver seamless maternal and infant support

Our technology informs every care management action we take, creating seamless care coordination, compliance, and data analytics.

Maternity Mobile App: Member support in the palm of the hand

Throughout a member’s maternity journey, ProgenyHealth’s Maternity App delivers education, support, and peace of mind. After downloading the maternity app, members can quickly:

  • Assess their risk level,
  • Receive personal health insights,
  • Track the progress of their pregnancy,
  • Read timely and relevant educational articles,
  • Document health information,
  • Follow a birth plan that supports their pregnancy and postpartum journeys,
  • Contact their ProgenyHealth case manager.

Baby Trax®: A purpose-built technology platform

ProgenyHealth’s Baby Trax proprietary platform forms the foundation of our industry-leading NICU Care Management solution to meet the needs of premature and medically complex infant care. The intelligent platform supports clinical decisions of our NICU Utilization and Case Management teams. Its technology creates a digital footprint of the member’s journey, producing a single case record and information source accessible to all stakeholders.

Serving as a single source of truth, the Baby Trax platform:

  • Delivers predictive analytics and diagnostic triggers that enhance the application of our evidence-based guidelines,
  • Manages clinical data and case management histories,
  • Formulates the development of personalized care management plans for each NICU case,
  • Powers our Payment Validation & Assurance service to ensure accurate NICU claims reimbursement.

Data Integration: Flexible and scalable

Our approach to seamless care management is supported by our commitment to interoperability. We work to get all of our health plans and partners connected for the ongoing exchange of data and information throughout the healthcare system.

ProgenyHealth receives admit, discharge, and transfer notifications (ADT) via HL7 transactions making the NICU utilization management team aware of admissions to the NICU or special care nursery. ADT notifications also notify when a baby is discharged to home, non-acute setting, or transfers to other locations of care.

Healthcare providers exchange C-CDA documents with ProgenyHealth. These Continuity of Care Documents (CCD) represent the core data set of the most relevant administrative, demographic, and clinical information facts about a patient’s healthcare. Our clinical teams use this medical record information to support the babies we care for from birth all the way through 12 months of life.

ProgenyHealth’s wholly integrated, tech-enabled solution builds a network of collaborative support with plans, physicians, and families for an uninterrupted continuum of care from prenatal health, through any resultant NICU stay, and all the way to one full year of life.
